The company and its subsidiaries may then carry out the following business activities: (i) provision of services in the field of production and management of oil and gas facilities (including drilling of oil and gas wells), such as sales, marketing and other services, (ii) rental, leasing and other provision of machinery and equipment and their installation at the respective facilities or fields, (iii) import and trade of chemicals related to petroleum and gas and the import and trade of radioactive materials for the petroleum industry, as well as the trade of explosive materials necessary for the business activities. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad. The company may acquire, manage and transfer patents, trademarks and technical and industrial know-how. The company may carry out all financial, commercial and other activities that are directly or indirectly related to the purpose of the company. The company may participate in group financing, in particular by granting loans to its direct or indirect shareholders or other group companies or by providing guarantees or other securities of any kind for their liabilities to third parties, even if these loans or securities are in the exclusive interest of its direct or indirect shareholders or other group companies and are granted free of charge.
