The cooperative aims to provide its members, particularly residents of Elm, with healthy and affordable housing in rental or ownership relationships. It strives to offer housing to all sections of the population and, where possible, takes into account individuals, families, and groups with special needs in the housing market. The properties and land owned by the cooperative are to be withdrawn from speculation and used in the sense of affordable housing and working. The cooperative limits its activities to the municipality of Glarus Süd, mainly to Elm.
