The core activity of FLV (Fédération Laitière Valaisanne / Valais Milk Association) is to represent and defend the interests of its members, particularly milk producers and processors in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. This includes promoting the competitiveness of the local dairy industry, protecting the designation of origin of milk products from Valais, supporting quality and sales promotion measures, and participating in other organizations with similar goals. In addition, FLV is responsible for milk quantity management, public relations, information and consulting services for members, and representing their interests in agricultural policy matters.
