The purpose of the Foundation is exclusively of public utility. The Foundation aims to make available real estate, specifically the parcel no. 667 RFD Mendrisio-Ligornetto and related, as a support point for temporary accommodation and/or laboratories/studios primarily intended for students attending courses at the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture. The selection of students who may benefit from these spaces will be made taking into account their economic conditions, favoring less affluent and needy individuals, possibly also based on their academic performance. Furthermore, the Foundation aims to promote art and culture in general, favoring, but not exclusively, the conservation and dissemination of works of art by Ticinese artists, with particular attention to those of Ugo and Milo Cleis. The possibility of modifying the purpose is reserved under the conditions provided for in Articles 86 and 86a CCS, both by the founders (during their lifetime or by last will) and by the Supervisory Authority on Foundations or the Foundation Council, which will take over after the death of the founders.
