The foundation exclusively pursues charitable purposes. It does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes. The foundation aims to provide financial and other support to humanitarian development projects, organizations, institutions, and individual initiatives in Ethiopia and the rest of Africa, with a focus on the areas of nutrition, healthcare, education, infrastructure, environmental protection, research, culture, etc. It can also pursue its purposes in developing countries on other continents and can initiate and implement development projects itself. It can also provide support contributions to cultural and spiritual projects and organizations in developing countries, including projects that promote cultural creation and serve cultural heritage protection. It can assume sponsorships and provide support services to needy persons and families in developing countries. It can advise and train other individuals and organizations in pursuing their charitable work and develop and communicate alternative models and concepts for development work.
