PAN International aims to significantly reduce nutrition-related deaths and advocates worldwide for a healthy, sustainable diet. Nutrition should also become a central pillar of healthcare to combat the three biggest global health crises: chronic diseases, climate change, and increasing pandemic risk. This purpose is to be implemented through: Empowering people in the healthcare sector and informing the public about dietary change for individual and planetary health by creating and offering practical tools; establishing and involving university groups at colleges and scientific institutions; international offices and partnerships as well as campaigns to raise awareness and promote healthy eating; Free training and continuing education offers for medical students and healthcare professionals; and other activities that may serve the association's purpose directly or indirectly. PAN International operates in Switzerland and worldwide, also functions as an umbrella organization for individual national organizations and coordinates their activities. The association is exclusively non-profit, does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes, and does not aim for profit.
