1. The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) and its implementing provisions for the employees of the company and economically or financially closely related companies, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability. 2. The affiliation of a closely related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. 3. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. 4. The foundation board shall issue regulations governing the benefits, organization, administration, and financing, as well as the control of the foundation. It shall define the relationship with the employer, the insured persons, and the beneficiaries in the regulations. The regulations may be amended by the foundation board, provided that the acquired rights of the beneficiaries are preserved. 5. The regulations and their amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. 6. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, provided that it is the policyholder and beneficiary.
