The pension fund aims to protect the personnel of Franke Schweiz AG, Franke Küchentechnik AG, Franke Management AG, Franke Kaffeemaschinen AG, Franke Technology and Trademark AG, Franke Foodservice Systems AG, Franke Industrie AG, Artemis Immobilien AG, and Artemis Holding AG (hereinafter referred to as the company) against the economic consequences of old age, disability, and death through regulatory insurance benefits. The pension fund may, with the company's consent, extend its activities to the personnel of financially or economically closely related domestic companies, as well as to formerly financially and economically closely related domestic companies, provided that the rights of the company's personnel are not impaired; the latter extension case (extension to formerly affiliated companies) serves solely to secure the employees in the context of company sales by the company, and the pension fund represents a closed collective foundation.
