The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) and its implementing provisions for the following beneficiaries: the employees of the company and their dependents and survivors, as well as individuals for whom the employee has provided significant support during their lifetime. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum requirements, including support in cases of hardship such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. By decision of the foundation board, in agreement with the company, the personnel of companies that are financially or economically closely linked to the company may also be affiliated with the foundation, provided that the necessary funds are made available to the foundation by these companies. Such decisions must be notified to the competent supervisory authority. Neither gratuities, cost-of-living allowances or similar salary supplements nor any benefits to which the company is legally obligated may be paid from the foundation's assets and income. The provisions of the BVG or its implementing ordinances are reserved.
