The foundation's purpose is to provide care for the employees of the founding company and the companies economically close to it, for whom written accession agreements are to be created, in cases of old age, illness, accident, etc., and for their survivors in the event of their death. Furthermore, support can be granted to employees currently or formerly in the service of the founding company, as well as their survivors, in cases of unprovoked hardship. No benefits may be paid out of the foundation's assets and income for which the founding company is legally or contractually obligated or which have a character similar to wages, such as cost-of-living allowances, family allowances, bonuses, anniversary gifts, etc. The foundation can conclude insurance contracts suitable for the lives of the beneficiaries and enter into existing insurance contracts, provided that it must be the policyholder in all cases. The foundation's assets and interest thereon can be used to cover insurance costs.
