The foundation aims to a) support and promote the training and further education of apprentices and specialized professionals in the fields of wood carving and ecologically sensible gardening; b) preserve and create apprenticeships and other opportunities for training and further education in these fields; c) provide contributions to institutions that pursue similar goals, including memorials and museums, and to the creation, artistic decoration, and maintenance of exemplary residential, garden, and park facilities that are accessible to the public; d) establish and annually award the Eisenring Prize to recognize Swiss and foreign individuals, including apprentices and professionals in training and further education, who have made outstanding contributions in the sense and scope of lit. a, b, or c above, and particularly in the field of exemplary, ecologically sensible gardening; e) collaborate with foundations in Switzerland and abroad that serve similar purposes.
