The foundation aims to provide financial support to the following target groups: Music: - Music educational institutions (conservatories, universities, and universities of applied sciences) in Switzerland; - Scholarships and training contributions for young, underprivileged musicians living in Switzerland (support for temporary further education abroad is permitted). No support for well-off individuals/families. Nature: Support exclusively related to the protection and research of - Wild animals, birds, insects, amphibians; - Native plants; - Waters and moorlands; - Forests. The foundation primarily carries out its activities with an effect within German-speaking Switzerland. Within the framework of the foundation's purpose, projects in the rest of Switzerland can secondarily be supported. No general amounts are granted to institutions, but only clearly project-related support within these institutions takes place. Further: - Support for the Zuger Übersetzer association (c/o Büro Hanspeter Uster, Ober Altstadt 13, 6300 Zug. vww.zugeruebersetzer.ch) in the form of continuing the annual awarding of the recognition prize in the amount of CHF 10,000.00; - Support for the BDN Engiadina Foundation, based in Silvaplana. Article 3 Supplementary provisions on the foundation's purpose 3.1 The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes. 3.2 Support services to other legal entities are only permitted if they are tax-exempt legal entities. 3.3 In all other respects, the foundation board decides independently and finally on the granting of contributions within the framework of the provisions of these statutes and any regulations, in accordance with its duty of care and discretion. 3.4 Recipients of contributions do not have any enforceable claims against the foundation.
