The foundation aims to promote vocational training and further education in the hotel and catering industry. In addition, it supports and promotes the exchange, cohesion and coordination between the associations and organizations of the industry as well as with industry-related institutions. The foundation is particularly active in the canton of St.Gallen and includes Eastern Switzerland. The foundation can: rent or build a competence center, in which training and administrative rooms are maintained and operated; offer and conduct vocational training and inter-company courses and supplementary courses for apprentices; conduct vocational training and further education courses for adults; take over administrative work for associations, clubs and organizations of the above-mentioned industry; engage personally and financially in career marketing and the promotion of young talent; support professionals who work for the well-being and reputation of the industry; acquire, encumber, dispose of and manage real estate in Switzerland; make financings within the framework of the foundation's purpose.
