Payment of a death benefit of CHF 1,000.00 to the surviving dependents of deceased members of the death and assistance fund after the member's death; the benefits to former members of the foundation (death benefits) in accordance with Articles 14 et seq. of the previous statutes of December 15, 1955, in the version of September 1, 2009, remain guaranteed for the members of the death and assistance fund, for which corresponding provisions are made annually; the death and assistance fund no longer accepts new members; provision of support services to active and former government employees as well as their surviving dependents in need; financing of projects for the benefit of government personnel with purely altruistic goals (e.g. health prevention campaigns).
