The import, export, representation, marketing, local trade and distribution of all types of goods and products in the energy sector, in particular liquefied natural gas, on its own account, on behalf of third parties, or in association with third parties. The Company may establish branches in Switzerland and abroad, take participations in any company in Switzerland or abroad, represent third parties, engage in commercial activities, enter into contractual commitments and take all measures or engage in any activity that is likely to promote the social purpose or that falls directly or indirectly within the scope of its activities. The Company may grant direct or indirect financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries as well as to third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, for their own commitments as well as for those of other companies (including direct or indirect shareholders of the Company or companies in which these shareholders have a direct or indirect participation), issue securities of any kind, including by way of pledges on the Company's assets or fiduciary transfers or assignments of the Company's assets, issue guarantees, provide guarantees or otherwise guarantee or secure obligations of the Company or such other companies, with or without remuneration. Furthermore, it may operate or participate with the aforementioned companies in cash pooling/centralization of net liquidity, including periodic balance adjustments, and this without consideration, on preferential terms, without interest, excluding the Company's profit motive and incurring a concentration of risks. The Company may acquire, hold, manage, mortgage and sell real estate as well as acquire, operate, pledge and sell patents, licenses and other intangible assets. With regard to transactions related to the purchase of real estate in Switzerland, these must have an exclusively commercial use. It is specified that if real estate held through participations is located in Switzerland, it may only have an exclusively commercial use. The company may engage in any activity directly or indirectly related to the aforementioned objectives. Furthermore, it may carry out any operation directly or indirectly related to its social purpose or suitable for its development.
