Support for people in financially difficult life situations and promotion of institutions pursuing such a purpose, as well as support for non-profit projects and institutions in the fields of culture, education and sports, conservation of the natural environment, promotion of folk culture and preservation of technical cultural heritage; the foundation's area of activity is limited to the cantons of Lucerne, Uri, Schwyz, Obwalden and Nidwalden.
