The association's purpose is to network and jointly promote gardens and parks in the four-country region of Lake Constance. Additionally, the association aims to support, develop and preserve the cultural and natural heritage of gardens in the mentioned region. The association is therefore active internationally. The purpose of the association is realized in particular through: promoting the quality and reputation of gardens on Lake Constance, promoting cross-border networking of partners and developing cooperation, promoting offers of art and culture in gardens on Lake Constance, and promoting education on the topic of gardens in the broadest sense. The goal is to increase the awareness of Lake Constance gardens and thus also of individual gardens (members), as well as to enhance the attractiveness and importance of the respective gardens and parks in the four-country region of Lake Constance and thus the Lake Constance brand. The provision of financial benefits by the association for the benefit of its members is excluded. The association is non-profit.
