The foundation aims to provide for the personnel of the companies of the Vetropack Group Switzerland in old age, in the event of disability and death. It can also provide support to the beneficiary or their dependents in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. The foundation board decides on the suitable means to achieve the purpose described in paragraph 1. It can use the foundation's assets in whole or in part for this purpose. It can also conclude insurance contracts for the benefit of all or part of the beneficiaries or enter into existing contracts. In such cases, the foundation is both the policyholder and the beneficiary. The foundation can also extend its activities to the personnel of companies that are financially or economically closely linked to the founder, provided that the rights of the founder's personnel are not violated. Each affiliated company must transfer the necessary financial resources to the foundation to insure its own personnel. If necessary, an agreement is concluded with the company or a foundation established by it, which also sets out the provisions applicable in the event of dissolution of the joint bond. The concluded agreements are notified to the supervisory authority. Beyond its personnel pension obligations, the foundation cannot assume obligations that are legally incumbent on the founder, nor can it make salary or salary-like payments. The costs arising from the administration of the foundation are reserved.
