The foundation aims to provide occupational benefits within the framework of the BVG (Federal Law on Occupational Old Age, Survivors' and Invalidity Pension) and its implementing regulations for the employees of WRH Walter Reist Holding AG (hereinafter referred to as the Company) and of companies closely linked to it economically or financially, as well as for their relatives and dependents against the economic consequences of old age, disability, and death. The affiliation of a related company takes place on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be brought to the attention of the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support services in emergency situations, such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or join existing contracts, whereby it must itself be the insured party and the beneficiary.
