The cooperative aims to promote the general development of agriculture and alpine farming in Samedan through joint self-help. In particular, it promotes milk production, milk processing and milk utilization, as well as high-quality meat production and the utilization of meat and other products from alpine and agricultural farming. The cooperative promotes quality improvements and measures that aim to improve the ecological and economic aspects of agriculture in general. To this end, the cooperative leases the alpine pastures of the municipality of Samedan and manages them. Additionally, it operates a slaughterhouse with the necessary facilities and processing machines, which can also be leased to a suitable person. Furthermore, it can acquire or sell properties and enter into any business and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the purpose of the cooperative or are related to it.
