The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits to employees of SABAG Biel/Bienne AG, SABAG Lausanne SA, and SABAG Romandie SA, as well as to employees of companies that are financially or economically closely related to the founding company, by providing support and benefits: a) to the employee in the event of old age or disability or in cases of need, such as illness, accident, or unemployment affecting the employee themselves; b) to the employee in cases of need, such as illness, accident, unemployment, or disability affecting their spouse, minor or disabled children, or other persons for whom they provide support; c) in the event of the employee's death, to the surviving spouse, divorced spouse, and persons for whom the employee provided support at the time of their death; and in the absence of such persons, to their legal heirs. Employer contributions may also be made from previously accumulated and separately disclosed contribution reserves, in accordance with Article 331, paragraph 3 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
