Occupational pension provision within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of Frutiger AG in Thun and affiliated companies as defined in Article 2.6 of the statutes. The foundation may exceed the minimum BVG benefits by providing support and benefits a) to the employee in the event of old age or disability; b) to the employee in cases of need such as illness, accident or unemployment affecting him personally; c) in the event of the employee's death, to the surviving spouse, divorced spouse and persons for whom he was responsible for maintenance at the time of his death, and in the absence of such persons, to his legal heirs; d) at the discretion of the foundation board, to the employee in cases of need such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment affecting his spouse, minor or disabled children or other persons for whom he is responsible. The foundation also aims to provide for the former employees of Frutiger AG in Thun and affiliated companies who have taken advantage of their right to early retirement under the GAV FAR (Foundation for Flexible Retirement in the Construction Industry); etc.
