The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits under the BVG and its implementing regulations for the employees of the original founding company, Grosspeter AG, Muttenz, and AIL Holding, Muttenz, or any companies economically or financially closely linked with them, as well as for their relatives and dependents against the economic consequences of old age, death, and disability. The connection of an affiliated company is made on the basis of a written accession agreement, which must be brought to the attention of the supervisory authority. The foundation can provide supplementary benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits. The board of trustees issues a regulation on the benefits, organization, administration, financial situation, and financing of the foundation, as well as on the control of the foundation. It determines the relationship with the employers, the insured, and the beneficiaries in the regulation. The regulation can be amended by the board of trustees while respecting the acquired legal rights of the beneficiaries. The regulation and its amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts or join existing contracts, whereby it must itself be the insured and the beneficiary.
