The foundation's purpose is to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG for the personnel of the city of Dübendorf. The foundation may also insure the personnel of other municipalities in the canton of Zurich, as well as the personnel of organizations and institutions that are economically or financially closely related to the founder. Admission is subject to the founder's approval. Admission is based on a written accession agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The founder and the affiliated municipalities, organizations, and institutions are collectively referred to as the employer. The foundation provides, in accordance with its regulations, adequate pension protection for its insured persons, as well as their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability, and death. The foundation may provide additional pension benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability, or unemployment.
