The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the BVG and its implementing provisions for the employees of Kraft Foods Schweiz Holding GmbH and economically or financially closely related companies, as well as their relatives and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. The affiliation of a related company is made on the basis of a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support benefits in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. The foundation board is authorized to decide on the means suitable for achieving the purpose of the foundation; if necessary, it may use the foundation's assets in whole or in part. It may also conclude insurance contracts for the benefit of all beneficiaries or a part of them, or enter into existing contracts. In these cases, the foundation is both the policyholder and the beneficiary. Outside of its personnel pension obligations, the foundation may neither assume obligations that are legally incumbent on employers nor make salary or salary-like payments. The administrative costs of the foundation are reserved.
