The foundation primarily aims to alleviate health-related and economic hardship cases, as well as improve the financial security of the economic employees and beneficiaries of the EW WALD AG pension fund and their dependents. It may provide benefits in the following cases: in the event of death, old age, accident, illness, and disability; to finance employee contributions for the purpose of maintaining or improving occupational pension benefits (2nd pillar) in the non-mandatory area. Secondary purposes of the foundation include benefits in the following cases: in the event of layoffs due to poor economic conditions, restructuring, mergers, and similar economic developments of EW WALD AG, particularly for retraining and early retirement; in other hardship cases, particularly to avoid dependence on public economic assistance.
