The foundation aims to provide for the employees of the founding company, as well as their dependents and beneficiaries, against the economic consequences of old age, disability, and death. Furthermore, the foundation can provide support services in cases of need such as illness, accident, or unemployment. To achieve its purpose or parts thereof, the foundation can conclude insurance contracts for the benefit of the beneficiaries or parts thereof, or enter into existing contracts, whereby it must be the policyholder and beneficiary itself. The foundation may, in accordance with Article 331, paragraph 3 of the Swiss Code of Obligations, make contributions from previously accumulated and separately disclosed funds to other tax-exempt pension institutions that the founding company has joined or established itself. The foundation can also provide services to other tax-exempt personal pension institutions that exist for the benefit of the beneficiaries to finance regulatory contributions and insurance premiums on a parity basis. The foundation can also provide voluntary purchase benefits to the regulatory pension of employees. Equal treatment must be ensured.
