The foundation aims to provide occupational pension benefits within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans (BVG) and its implementing provisions for the employees of the company and, if applicable, economically or financially closely related companies, as well as for their dependents and beneficiaries against the economic consequences of old age, disability and death. The foundation may provide additional benefits beyond the statutory minimum benefits, including support in cases of need, such as illness, accident, disability or unemployment. The affiliation of an employer or a related company is based on a written affiliation agreement, which must be notified to the supervisory authority. The foundation board issues a regulation governing the benefits, organization, administration, asset management and financing, as well as the control of the foundation. It defines the relationship with the employers, the insured persons and the beneficiaries in the regulation. The regulatory provisions may be amended by the foundation board, while preserving the acquired rights of the beneficiaries. The regulations and their amendments must be submitted to the supervisory authority. To achieve its purpose, the foundation may conclude insurance contracts or enter into existing contracts, provided that it is the policyholder and beneficiary itself.
